As a young girl growing up in Hawaii, my father told me I was a poor, plain Asian girl in a white man’s world so I had to just accept my lot in life. At the age of 53 I wrote a movie, followed by a book called “September Dawn,” starring Jon Voight. Even though I never wrote a screenplay before, I followed the Lord who gave me the idea and He made me part of 1% of all screenwriters who ever get a movie made. Which just goes to show you it doesn’t matter how old you are or how little you know. God certainly uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise!

Hi,
My name is Kris Manley author of the wonderful book, Resumes for Children - 17 Years Old and Under. Early resume development for children is very beneficial; a child’s resume boosts their self-esteem, praises and affirms their gifts, talents, and abilities, shows others that a child is more than what their report card says they are and more! I would love to share with your listeners:
- 5 things a resume does for a child
- 10 great uses for a child’s resume
- 2 items NOT to include in a child’s resume
- FREE and budget friendly activities that children may participate in to build a great resume
My book is in the hands of teachers and students at several Atlanta, GA high schools and middle schools, it’s being used by the Georgia Dept. of Labor Career Centers, and Western Kentucky University is using my book in their AIMS Program (Activating Interest in Minority Students).
Visit my website and listen to my radio interviews; click on “Media Room”
Blessings!
Kris
